I went to the doctor today and why, yes, I do still have something wrong with me that is making me sleep or want to sleep for copious amounts of time that are not normal unless you are, say, a cat.  Kidney infection, which explains everything, pretty much, and is what I thought I had.  I will get the antibiotics later today when the pharmacy gets around to actually filling the prescription.

I wrote a little bit more on the Christmas fic.  Maybe if I am lucky I will finish it sometime this week.  It's just hard to concentrate when all I really want to do is sleep.  *yawns*

Is is just me or is LJ really, really slow this week/month/year?  Why are people on the internet not entertaining me?  Why? Don't you know that it is your job to keep me from being bored when I am sick and miserable?  *laughs*

Kidney infections are amazingly (and depressingly) effective at slowing life to an unpleasant crawl. I hope the antibiotics knock it out ASAP.

And, yes, LJ has been unprofessionally slow; I share your disappointment that it's not keeping me as amused as it should. Although in my case, it should be keeping me amused at work. Ahem.

I have noticed that LJ has been very quiet. I chalk it up to people still recovering from the holidays. Luckily, I've been spending lots of time catching up on fanfic for my new obsession, Sherlock.

Aww I'm so sorry to hear about the infection. I hope that now that you have meds you'll start feeling better quickly.

I for one am actually kinda glad for the slowishness of LJ lately since I've been behind for about a month. Everytime I catch up I end up missing a few days and having to catch up again. I currently have about 40 lj tabs open. It's a bit insane.

That said, I am a culprit of failing at entertaining you. I've been crap at posting lately and one of my new years resolutions is to try and post more regularly. I'm hoping to start that today since I'm not feeling so great myself and have thus decided to lay low today and not go anywhere. Any opinion on what I should start with? I owe so many posts it's insane... we've got - holidays, new years resolutions, Much Ado, Travel, fic, etc....
