Well, I finally slept last night.  Proper times, too.  Was in bed by ten, was asleep by eleven, slept through until 6:20.  Wish I'd managed to fall asleep closer to ten and wake up closer to seven, but a seven hour chunk of uninterupted sleep is so much better than what I have been getting lately and beggars can't be choosers.  One good night doesn't make up for several bad ones though so I hope I can do it again tonight.

I have physical therapy today.  I am almost walking normally again.  Stairs are still my bugaboo.  I can go up them one leg per step but going down I have to two foot it on each step.  I have knee pain about two days out of seven now, which is a remarkably improvement.  It's not sharp anymore, just sort of a dull throbbing that comes and goes intermittently.

The bronchitis seems to finally be on it's way out, or at least I hope so.  I still have ten days worth of antibiotics left to take.  I'm on my third course.  I'm not coughing much at all anymore and when I do it's pretty shallow.

My fic brain is coming back.  I'll be working on finishing up that Christmas fic pronto.  Hopefully I can get it done today and up tomorrow.  I dreamed out the entire next chapter of Leap of Faith last night and actually remembered it this morning, so if I'm lucky I'll be able to write that this week.  I'd really like to get back into the groove again with that fic.

I looked at the new picture prompts for this week's challenge at then_theres_us.  It's been weeks since I've been inspired by any of the prompts there.  Several of them immediately brought lines of dialogue into my head.  Normally this bodes well, but for some reason the challenge this week is to write it in script format.  :(  That's not going to happen.  I don't have the time or energy or inclination to write a story in script format.  I don't even like reading them in script format (hate reading plays, always have).  So I'll pass this week.  It's just as well.  I need to get back into the swing of writing for myself again and not being so distracted by challenges and ficathons.

I've passed along all of your congratulations to Peter and Victoria on the birth of their twins.  They said to thank everyone very much and that you are all very sweet people.

I cannot believe that half of my f-list that does not live in that country is going to England to see Tate and Tennant in Much Ado About Nothing.  That kind of disposable income and spur of the moment behavior would be nice.  Ah, well, one day when the kids are grown we will be able to do things like that.  Until then I'll shake my head in amusement and a smidgeon of jealousy and hope you all have a lot of fun.

Darn school is on a late start from the snow, so T doesn't go until 11:00.  I didn't even think to check it before leaving the house.  Umm...it's 32 degrees outside and the roads are clear.  Why did you not do this when it was 17 degrees with a windchill factor of icy death and destruction (a legitimate measurement of temperature) back in November, hmm?  Oh, well, I plopped him in front of the Wii and am hoping to get some writing time in anyway.

Oh sweetie, I feel for you with the weather. I've not been on because I've been flooded out for the last couple of weeks - since Christmas in fact - and we are only now just getting back on our feet.

I really hope that your sickness decides it's had enough play time with you soon, and your muses come back in full force. I HAVE missed your wonderful fics.

Cheers for now, GoG
