Well, 'Sleeping Beauty' is called Dornröschen in German - which means basically Rose. But now I'm imagining Rose as the 'prince' with Jack as her faithful squire... You know that you're evil, don't you? ;)
Lisa, your story has jumped the shark. Why would a desert island on an alien planet have princes OR frogs? Did Rose's coconut water go off? WAIT, I get it! Her and the Doctor fermented fruit, and now they're drunk. It's meant to represent triumph of the human- and Time Lord-spirit, the finale of your man-vs-nature tale. Because civilization, to an extent, is the conquering of nature, and the true mark of human civilization is booze.
Oh, god. I can only imagine the mischief they would get up to if they started making alcohol. I should hope the kiln was finished first, because no work might be done from then on out.
Can you imagine the number of bar songs the Doctor must have picked up over the years? And how many drinking games he'd have time to remember while stuck on an island with nothing else to do? XD
Now I can't get that image out of my head. Bad thing when I am attempting to write smut. Then again I probably shouldn't be watching SVU while writing this either.
I bet he'd come up with a few new drinking games to make getting Rose's clothes off just that bit more fun.
*snerks* Or, you know, it's a song from a blasted singing fairytale record that has been stuck in my head (along with 12 Dancing Princesses, beautiful princessess, wear out your shoes, princesses, some day you'll find romance...) since I was six and was as good as anything else for these purposes. *end snerk*
In all seriousness, I think it would be too easy for the Frog Prince to be translated to Doctor Who. Nine kisses Rose and turns into Ten. Yeah...I don't think I like the connotation.
