Found a lovely fic on Teaspoon tonight called Kissing Complete Strangers and Clinging on for Life by Queen of the Castle:  http://www.whofic.com/viewstory.php?sid=37797.  It's Nine/Rose, but it's post-Doomsday pre-JE Rose and pre-Rose Nine.  Wonderful, fun, fluffy, sweet, sarcastic, and spot on with the characterization.  Rated Teen.  Go, read, be happy.

Seconded! It really is a fun story.

I know for a fact that it was originally written for Challenge 42 at then_theres_us, which is a ficathon this go around. Best part is that for this challenge, not just members of the comm can play. Anybody can write for any prompt that's been issued for this challenge.
