amberfocusWell, I just spent about two hours updating my Master Fic List and putting links in on old stories. I've yet to finish linking Repercussions, Of the Vortex Born, Just Another Shop Girl (which reminds me I need to get cracking on finishing that rewrite), and one of the Crossing Boundries stories. I've taken the WIP notice off two of the fics that have been finished for a while. I've still got one thing to bring over from Teaspoon, I still need to link each of the Moments in Darkness Stories to the one that follows it, but each story has been linked within itself now, and there might be one other fic I'm forgetting to mention, but other than that it's done. I even dug up all the drabbles. Good heavens I've written a lot of drabbles. I'm debating whether or not to add story summaries in now that I've got all the titles and links listed. I probably should, but that is definitely a project for another day.
Again I say (like I do every time I update that monster) if you are just starting out writing fanfic start your master fic list now and add to it as you go. And link every chapter to the next one as you go. As soon as you publish chapter two go back and put a link at the bottom of chapter one. Because if you don't you will find it a major undertaking two and a half years later when you've written a boatload of fics with 30 to 50 chapters each and lots of little ones with 3 or 4. Well, if you're like me, anyway.
Other than that I've made sure the kids were fed and watered, did a full course of homeschooling, taken a run to the organic food store that isn't TJ's to find gum that was safe on Feingold for Tobias, taken Tobias to jazz/hip hop class, tried on recital costumes, found out he's dancing on both nights of the recital this year (ugh), picked up Tobias from jazz/hip hop class, debated letting him audition for The Nutcracker (he had so much fun the year he was in it), chased three half grown ducklings and a 1/2 grown chick around the yard when they refused to go back in the coop with the rest of the flock, read 2 chapters of The Vampire Diaries book 2 (because Rose wants to read them and I can't remember how graphic they get from when I read them in the '90's), and wrote 925 words on ch. 16 of Leap of Faith and about...twelve words on![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

I have no problem waiting, though - it just means that I get to enjoy my birthday for longer! And I still say Rose should just hang the hat on Ten2's... well.... you know. *giggle*
