I'm Sick with the Yuck

I woke up with a fuzzy, miserable head full of congestion and feeling slightly dizzy so I sent Chris and the kids on to the Pacific Science Center without me.  I hated to do it, because it's on Mars stuff and I really love that sort of thing, but I am so miserable I would have made them all miserable today, too.  I get whiney and grumbly when I'm like this.  That old adage, "When Momma ain't happy ain't nobody happy," definitely applies when I'm sick.

I'll be posting earlier than I thought.  I just need to go over the notes I've gotten and answer the comments from the last chapter first.

Bummer about the yucky. Maybe a nice cuppa will do you good. Hope it's not allergies because then at least it will go away. I get 6 weeks of congestion and scratching my eyes out this time of year.

On the other hand, selfishly, yay for posting earlier. I'll go back to obsessively hitting refresh.

Oh, yuck. Feel better. I hate being sick and I totally do the same thing, send my daughter off with her dad without me. It sucks but it definitely for the best.

I've not commented on Leap of Faith yet, because it took me until last night to catch up with it (England was terrific for my work progress but terrible for keeping up with LJ!) Anyway, I read all 9 chapters last night even though I was falling asleep at the keyboard (I will ALWAYS stay away for one of your stories!) and am really loving it! Love the banner too! Can't wait for more, but please focus on getting better first.
