In A Hearbeat
 

Rose’s eyes are wide, inviting as she smiles sleepily at the man she adores. She reaches for him as he approaches the bed, watches in appreciation as his robe falls to the floor, feels the desire as it surges with a flush just above her heart, culminates with a flash that tingles through her toes. She doesn’t think she’ll ever stop wanting him, ever stop wanting this. He stares at her for longer than she can stand. “Jonathon!” They both decide that sleep can wait. He’s on her in a heartbeat, inside her in the next. As it should be.
