Well, I probably won't have anything to post tonight.  I had hoped that this chapter of A Sky Without Stars would be done by now, but it's looking more like tomorrow night.  Oh, well.  It's coming along nicely and so is chapter two of Proof Positive.

This is probably a silly question, but for those of you who have read A Sky Without Zeppelins, is there any particular song you hear and go, hey, that's Jonathon and Rose?  If so, what song and why?

I want to say Sex on the Beach - But I'm going to go with I'll Be - (Goo Goo Dools.) Why? Because - He will be all of those things for her. they do belong together. She is his survival, his living proof - just as our Rose Tyler was for 9/10. His love is alive - not dead. As far as he believes, he fought his way back from the dead.

Most of all, I think that Jonathon will always be the greatest fan of her life, because he has that part of the Doctor in him. (Even if he doesn't know that)

Nice song, just one thing, that wasn't the Goo Goo Dolls, that was Edwin McCain that wrote and originally sung that song.

*Nineties song geek who really should start reading Zeppelins soon*

I'm fairly sure the Goo Goo Dolls did some kind of version, my brain is rather fluffy at the present time. But You're quite right. Edwin had the original.

*And I can't stop singing sex on the beach now .. Woahh ay ohh way oh .. *

Sure you're not thinking about another Goo - Goo Dolls song, like "Iris"? I know they had a lot of tunes that were similar to "I'll Be."

They have covered 'I'll be' and it has been played on the radio but it wasn't on any of their albums

Hope that helps :-)
