Hello, my lovely f-list.  Asking a britpick question for Victoria.  Do you call the paved place where you park your car beside your house a driveway like we do, or something else?

As a bona fide Brit I can tell you that we usually just call it the drive , if it's outside a normal house (sometimes a drive way , if it's long).

Just a drive really. Never heard it called a driveway over here. Though it might be regional.
