Okay, I've Made Big Decision One

I'm splitting the time line in Moments in Darkness.  There will be PotW and that is where the time line will split.  In timeline A, Nine will continue on, manage not to regenerate, and we will go along our merry way with Rose and Jack (not killing him) and definitely no Mickey being picked up to travel with them.   And yes, I've made the other decision, I'm just not sharing it, yet.  Because I'm evil.  Yes, I know.   Thank you. *bows*

As for timeline B with Ten, it will follow season 2 pretty closely.  Only it will take Rose more time to accept him as Ten than it did in the show.  Because it's all about the angst I can derive from that.  This will follow close to the heart of the angst that this MoD series has been about and Rose gradually learning to accept that he's still the Doctor.  He will do some bad things (like GitF) that will destroy her trust in him.  She'll make a few bad choices, too, but they will be based off of reacting to his bad choices.  Things the series should have dealt with but never really did.

I finally got a script from the doctor today for sleeping pills for my insomnia, so I'm taking one tonight and not finishing the next chapter of Change unless they don't work.  And tomorrow's game day at the soccer park and then a Costco run, so maybe by tomorrow night I'll have it done, beta'd and up.  I will get the next two chapters of A Place in Time up, too.

Love this idea of keeping Nine for MoD in one timeline (though, admittedly, I adore anything that serves to keep Nine along for longer than his alloted time). (-_-;) Really enjoying the story, especially how their level of intimacy gradually built up, the need becoming more and more apparent (and sympathized with poor Nine's discovery of Rose's genetic incompatibility). And the world needs a good supply of non-immortal, non-embittered Cap'n. :) Will look forward to it!
