Is it Just me?

...or have the colds this cold season been virtually impossible to get rid of?  I feel like I've had a rolling cold since October and every time I start to feel better again a couple days later I am just smacked upside the head with it again.  It's like having a throat full of phlegm has become my natural state of being.  Not to mention the stuffed head and consstantly draining (but never being drained) sinuses.

I'd think it was just me, but my kids have been going through the same thing all winter.  And T almost never even gets sick.  This is just exhausting.  I want to move to a tropical island somewhere and just bake myself in the sun until the cold is dead.

On the bright side my knee is doing really well this week.

I spent far too much time on youtube today.  I'm not normally one for having Ten2 being super dark or anything, because I tend to think things with him and Rose would be pretty good after a bit of angsting, but once in a while when I'm in a darker mood, I tend to watch these in a "train wreck, can't look away," sort of way.  This is an AU where things go terribly wrong and it's frightening how well it was put together.  David Tennant has really played some scary guys.  It's another one by Bex19.  This might be a bit triggery for some people.  Has a happy ending, though.

I spent far too much time on youtube today.  I'm not normally one for having Ten2 being super dark or anything, because I tend to think things with him and Rose would be pretty good after a bit of angsting, but once in a while when I'm in a darker mood, I tend to watch these in a "train wreck, can't look away," sort of way.  This is an AU where things go terribly wrong and it's frightening how well it was put together.  David Tennant has really played some scary guys.  It's another one by Bex19.  This might be a bit triggery for some people.  Has a happy ending, though.

Laptop Issues

If I go quiet for a few days it's due to computer problems.  My laptop's desktop is not wanting to come up after I enter my opening screen password.  It took me ten restarts today and seven yesterday to get it to give me more than just the black screen of death.  I think it's actually a problem with the firewall function of my antivirus software.  I'm going to uninstall it and install a new one, but if it is more than that that is the problem I may not be able to get back on for a bit.  On top of that my internet keeps dropping my laptop.  It's fine on all the other household computers so that might be related to the firewall as well.  Hopefully it's as simple as I think it is, just mind-numbingly time consuming.  First I've got to move all my documents and pictures onto my portable hard drive, though.  Don't want to lose my WIPs.
