This New Show I'm Watching
Feb. 4th, 2009 04:08 pmSo I've been watching this new U.K. show called Demons and I rather like it even though it is a shameless rip off of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, right down to the Watcher--oh, wait, that's Smiter--named Rupert. His last name even starts with a G. Okay, it's Galvin and not Giles, but come on! And we have our requisite unrequited love/best friend in Xander, oh, wait, her name is Ruby. Sorry. And the role of Buffy is played by a Luke Van Helsing. Seriously. Van Helsing. There's a Mina Harker, too, in the lovely role of Angel/Cordelia. Oh, yes. No sexually confused witches or short werewolves or bleached soulful vamps with crazy girlfriends, but give them time.
