Fic Update

I sent ch. 24 of Zeppelins off to Amy to beta.  And now I'm off to bed.  Hopefully I'll have it back and can post it in the morning before we take the kids to see High School Musical 3.  Otherwise, late afternoon, early evening Pacific time.

He laces his fingers through Rose’s limp hand and glares at Lumin. “That’s more important to me than finding out what the hell is going on.” He turns back to Dr. Milligan. “Why is she still unconscious?”

Wow...Vid Rec

This may be the best Doctor Who vid I've ever seen.

It's quite long but it is so worth it.  The first two minutes of Nine and Rose are just perfect.  I love it all, really, but the first two minutes grabbed a hold of my heart and pulled me right in.  The last two minutes made me cry.  Oh, it was so lovely, the music was so perfect for it.  It covers all four seasons and really, it just amazes me, especially considering it was all done with WMM.

I just finished reading a story on Teaspoon that was incredibly well done.  It had a great balance of angst, determination, and dawning romance.  It's Nine/Rose in denial with Jack along for the ride and wanting to romance Rose a bit himself as the hapless pairing come to the realization that they are in love with each other.  A bit of action into the mix and a fun plot.  It was really just a delight to read.  I did want to kick the Doctor in the head a few times from his misguided idiocy, but you know, in a good way. *laughs*  No smut, it's not that kind of fic, but it's still worth the read you smut bunnymongerers, you.  Especially if you love the Nine/Rose dynamic.
