Busy, Busy and Story Updates
Apr. 20th, 2008 11:25 pmToday was a busy day but I got more accomplished than I thought I would. First of all I made this entry: http://amberfocus.livejournal.com/39060.html into my very first picspam. That would be the dialog with my characters and myself when they weren't behaving the other day, so do go back and let me know what you think of it. New artform and all. *grins*
The make up soccer game was today and it was much warmer. Well, no vicious wind chill and about 41 degrees with the sun out, so yay. Rose's team lost the game 0 to 2. That makes their league score 4 wins and 2 losses this season. I thought they did great though. They played the toughest team in the league today and held them to only two goals, which no one else has been able to do. They usually have about an eight to ten point spread.
Stopped by the grocery store and did a bit of shopping with whiney, annoying kids. Not mine, they were with me, but the whiney, annoying ones were just randomly spaced about the store. Had late lunch at KFC (not the healthiest option but better than something in a bun), took Rose shopping for new unmentionables. She'd probably kill me if she knew I put that there. Oh, well. Finally watched the new Doctor Who eppy and downloaded the confidential eppy. Read a couple chapters of The Invisible Circus. CE is in the movie version of the book and I keep picturing him whenever Wolf is on the page, with his hippy hair and gorgeous tan. I watched the movie last week and got the book from the library. I still have the movie out from Netflix and will watch it again after finishing the book. I think it'll make more sense that way.
I wrote the first chapter of Pain, the next Moments in Darkness story, and started on the second. I did 500 words on chapter nine of Hunger Moon. I plotted out the next four chapters of Andromeda Rising. And I'm thinking about the next chapter of Of the Vortex Born. So very productive day.

Date: 2008-04-21 03:34 pm (UTC)Congrats to Rose and her team. I wathce CE again last night when my husband happened on Gone in 60 Seconds, in which he plays the bad guy, but I don't care.
Looking forward to new reading material. I spent the weekend pretty much home. Had to take Brendan to a doctor on Friday. He has another sinus infection. Then Sunday I noticed this pain on my left side in the lower jaw/neck region which is also travelling into my head, so I might go see my dr. today and get that checked out..
Thanks for the updates. Looking forward to reading more.
