I'm a day or two behind everybody else, but I wanted to give a big thank you to those of you who voted for me in the last round of the CoT Awards.  A Dangerous Creature? Not so Much won best humor, That Night on Betazorn 9 won best crack!fic, A Question of Innocence won best romance, and Moments in Darkness won best series, all in the New Who categories.

 

And a couple of those were runners up in other categories.  I'm thrilled.  I put the banners up on my profile page under the ones for rounds one and two.  Three PG rated fics and only one that is NC-17, and two of these were Ten fics.  That's a bit ironic, considering.

I also wanted to offer a big congratulations to those of you who won and were runners up in your categories.

Aw, thank you. *laughs* I seem to blocked on the smutty Nine/Rose at the moment, or maybe I'm just really, really focused on finishing Zeppelins and have no place in my head for other characters right now.

I think concentrating on Zeppelins is a good idea, as I'm enjoying it and awaiting the next bits. I really like the Zeppelins' Rose because she is geeky like me (I'm a biomedical engineer)but still acts feminine and looks like a beautiful woman.

My first thought when I read this was, not even I can argue for putting away Jonathon and Rose, even if it automatically meant Nine/Rose smut. Immediately following that thought was, whaddaya mean, finishing Zeppelins?!?! I know it's a whole 'verse, and I know there are future stories planned, and, yeah, we're like almost 50 chapters in, but finishing? Sniff sniff. People are going to start going through withdrawal. We'll need a support group...

*laughs* This is the longest story I've ever written. It passed Wolf Moon about 40,000 words ago. It was originally planned to be 50 chapters, but I'm not entirely sure now. It may be closer to 55. Still, it can't go on forever. And I do have to finish up some other fics after this one, too, before I get to the sequel. You're What? will be next and if the muse will come back, Hunger Moon after that, so you will get your Nine fix eventually.

Wow. I know some of the Time Eternal stories are HUGE, but Wolf Moon is positively epic! I can't believe Zeppelins is longer than that. I'm amazed.

I'm glad to hear HM and YW are coming back this summer; those are two of my favorite WIPs. But you know what? Even if it was Ten all summer in Moments in Darkness and Of the Vortex Born, I'd be happy. Everything you write is a treat.

Wolf Moon is 118,000 words. Zeppelins so far is at 168,000 and that's not counting the chapter I just sent to Amy for beta. I'm sure it'll hit 200,000. Time Eternal, I think the longest one of those is just under 75,000 words. Well I do hope to get to Vortex as well. It only needs about five more chapters to be done. I just am trying to figure out one thing that has been stumping me on it.
