Okay. Do they have strip malls? It's a set of shops all together sharing walls in one long strip but each one has an outdoor entrance and they don't have indoor entrances connecting the shops to each other. Do they have another name?

I know what you mean and we have them, but they aren't really called anything, just to be a pain. Just rows of shops. Perhaps a shopping precinct.

Might be too late for you, but Retail Park is generally the term for what you call a strip mall.
