Another Long Day

I went to the Doctor today and he gave me another course of medication.  He says I'm better but not well.  Still, I feel better, so that's something.  I was out and about for most of today so no writing was accomplished other than about 500 words, but DH and I brainstormed where I want the plot to go with Hunger Moon and he helped me get my thoughts in order, so there should definitely be a chapter up some time tomorrow.  I've been rereading some of my old stuff.  I think I will be posting the Time Eternal series over here, too.  I've just finished with the plague in To Call Our Own.  It's funny, I named one of the characters in that story Davin, too.  A minor character and quite heroic really.  Just a boy.  I do like the name even if everyone seems to dread it with the coming of Davin McBain!

My brain still isn't focusing quite the way it was before I came down with this flu.  I keep hoping to get back to my much more frequent writing but my mind just seems to be easily exhausted these days.  I suppose I just can't push as hard as I did before.  Which might mean every other day for updates for awhile.  But that's okay.  Well, I think it's okay.  Not sure about everyone else. *grins*

I've been thinking about Of the Vortex Born and I think I may have figured out how to get out of the predicament I left Rose and the Doctor in, so hopefully some progress will be made on that story.  I'd like to get it done.  I want to finish Repercussions.  I want to finish Andromeda Rising.  I want to start on In This Darkness Tumbles Hope.  So many things in my head.  But Hunger Moon is still on the top of the list as it drives the hardest.  One day I'll get my energy back.

I hope you can rest up a bit, and concentrate on getting well. It has been such a bad year for this stuff, It is warm out here, and everyone has still been sick!

So please take care! We can wait to see Davin. I think the Davin parts will be interesting, but I am actually a bit more worried about what will turn out to be the problem with Pete!

I have to admit that I'm kind of amused that you capitalized Doctor when you weren't talking about THE Doctor. (Glad I'm not the only one who slips and does that sometimes.)

Oh, I do that all the time. It's gotten to be such a habit to capitalize it I forget not to when I don't have to. *laughs*

Take your time and get well, both body and mind...we can wait! Still love the idea of your hubby brainstorming along with you...too cool! And Davin is a good name...reminds me of Devin, and I like that name.

DH gives me some great threads to follow sometimes. It helps to be able to talk things out and play off each other's thoughts on the matter.

Absolutely. Take care of yourself. Your health is more important. We can wait a bit. I am only dreading Davin(or Pete for that matter) in the context of whether the dealings with either one of them could cause tension or fighting between our lovebirds, and I hate to see that. Although, I realize there's not as much drama without some turmoil, but I hope to see them stay strong and completely together in the face of outside influences.
That's just my silly opinion. I love your stories and know that even when there is strife you always manage to get them back to happy without it taking too long.
Again take care of yourself and don't rush. I also think it is cool that your hubby is helping you brainstorm.

I suppose. *smiles* Nothing's going to come between Rose and Nine. They may have some rough bits ahead but it won't be in their relationship with each other. They'll be a united front for the most part.

Oh, I certainly know what you mean about your brain being tired! I was down for more than a week with one of those super-flu bugs last month and I still haven't really gotten my endurance and strength back up to what it was before I got sick. :S These things are really rough on you!

So you definitely don't set yourself too taxing of a schedule! We'll certainly be glad to wait for our "fix" while you're getting better! ;) *hugs* ♥!
