Been over a fair amount of geography, but the only other place I've visited that's not in the U.S. is British Columbia, Canada. Oh, but one day!

Well you haven't been to any of the states that I've lived in.
Missouri(most of my life), West Virginia (3 months), or Florida(now and forever more)

Nope, not yet and most of these I went to between the ages of 11 and 19. But I do intend to visit every state one day.

for someone who likes to travel (me) I've only been to 11 states.

I tend to go to states where I know people and can stay with them so when I go on vacation, I go to the same states over and over.

Makes sense to me. Travel can be very expensive.
