Yuck and Ugh and Bleh and an update about Ch.3 of HM

I don't do sick well.  You think I would since I have so much practice at it, but no.  I'm trying to maintain a positive attitude but I'm at that point where all I want to do is whine and I have the stuffed head, congested voice that works perfectly for whining.  I had a physical therapy appointment this morning for my hip.  It's been acting up something fierce so off I went and spent two hours of my life and $100 I'll never get back but my hip seems to be more normal now, so hopefully it means it worked.

I spent some time making icons and playing with my photo software today and I found the Tyler twins.  Amy reminded me that I did name them in Wolf Moon, Kyle and Sarah, my little homage to the Terminator.  Anywho, I searched some kid model sites and found a boy that I think looks remarkably like Pete and a girl who looks close enough to Jackie they could be related.  Least I think so.  Compare Sarah to the icon I made of Jackie above and see what you think.

So, I've got them settled and I've got Davin (#3) sorted in my head now.  It really helps with the creative process.  Which is moving along a bit now.  I've got 1400 words written on chapter 3 of Hunger Moon.  I hope to finish it tonight but I wouldn't wait up.  My head is so full of gunk that I keep having to take breaks and I probably just ought to go to bed.  I will get around to answering my comments tomorrow, I've just been too out of it to do it today.

I think it's going to be a while before I'm over this thing, but I was able to finish chapter 3 and get 1100 words into chapter four today. Depsite sleeping from 9 until 1:30. I think I could still sleep another 10 hours and not oversleep.

Those kids definitely look like they could be Rose's little sister and brother--especially the girl. She looks like she could be Billie Piper's sister or daughter. I know what you mean about wanting to get appearances sorted in your head; hence my search for Susan Tyler-Smith, as I'm about to start the "Seed Pearls" sequel. (Zooey Deschanel got the job.)

I had a hard time deciding on whether to make her be the sister or save her for later and make her be the daughter. But then I found some great other shots that look like they could be CE's daughter with Billie, so went ahead and used this one for Sarah. I couldn't believe it when I found that boy. He looks so much like Shaun Dingwall it's scary.

As much as I'm looking forward to the continuation of Hunger Moon, perhaps you should just drink some orange juice/chicken soup, curl up, and sleep. You'll probably get better faster. Only work if you can't not (which does, of course, happen!).

I love your Jackie Tyler icon! Jackie is a much-maligned character, but I love her (and she was really my favourite part of S2). The kids are good matches - the little girl has a Rose-shaped face, and the little boy definitely has Pete's colouring. I don't mind men balding, but it's heartbreaking in the case of Shaun Dingwall, because he did have the most beautiful rose-gold hair. I still remember him standing out like a bright flame in the middle of the gloom of Touching Evil.
