This Cannot Stand

Okay, guys, it's one thing if the Gilmore Girls trump Dr. Who at the Support Stacie Auction.  I can handle that.  But Twilight?  That's just wrong.  Really, really wrong.  If you can afford to bid and think this is a cause you can support, please do so.  There are a ton of excellent DW writer's on the block, some of them that haven't been bid on yet.

Not that I'm saying it's right - but they do have more writers. 35 to our 34. (Okay, ONE more writer.)

But then, we have wiggiemomsi. And there's several Twilight writers who haven't been bid on yet. Which no matter the fandom, just makes me sad.

Well, for the most part it looks like it's one biggie being written by two authors who must be very popular in that fandom.

I'm passing on something wendymr said: "Mind you, in the last couple of auctions I joined forces with other people to outbid Wiggie on an author or two. If a dozen or so of you who could only afford $5 or $10 each were to get together you might manage to sneak one author from under Wiggie's or Amber's nose"
