They are definitely their own, distinct stories. Aside from the difference of Nine vs. Ten and the Doctor being the one with lost memories and a pasted-over life vs. Rose, the plots are completely different. I was just, I don't know, worried I'd find something that'd remind me too strongly of my own story. Part of that's because someone *did* totally rip off SP a while back, right down to the wording in several places. Part of it, too, is that SP is one of my favorite "kids." You get protective of your stories, y'know? Of course you do.

Anyway, all of that is to say, I'm reading and enjoying it now. I'll be watching for the new chapter!
