<------------------Lookee what Lilli made me!  Isn't it pretty?  I will use this for general commenting all over the place on LJ and my moony one for my new default icon that I'll use on any non-specific journal entries.  Two pretties in one day.  I am happy.  Thank you, Lilli.  It's lovely.

For most of my life, Bogart and Bacall have been my "heat" chemistry barometer (although Judy Garland and Gene Kelly were all over the tenderness category). But by the end of "Rose", CE and BP had displaced both couples at the top of my chart, and I never, ever would have bet on that happening.

I'm torn, trying to decide whether I want to see them do something else together, or just leave well enough alone, but as long as they're both working in the UK, chances are they'll end up together again anyway! (I'm also holding out hope for CE and Catherine Tate, because wow.)

Yeah, I totally understand that and don't get it when people say they don't see their chemistry. It scorches the screen. How can people not see their chemistry? I'd love to see them together again in something, something that pairs them up romantically would be especially nice, because the chemistry in that one screen kiss was amazing. And since they seemed to enjoy working together from every interview I ever saw, it seems likely they would do something more. Especially since the acting/writing community in the U.K. seems rather incestuous. Er...maybe not the right choice of word, but how they all seem to turn up in more stuff together eventually? Maybe nepotism would be a better word, but you know what I mean, I think.
