Happiness Meme Day 3

Things that have made me happy today:

1. I fixed my N key. I had to take it off and pull the plot dust bunny out from underneath it. It had wrapped around the dealio and filled in the thingy with that stuff you pull out of your hairbrush after you've pulled out the hair and then you have to use a toothpick to unwrap it from the bristles.  Or at least I do.  Well, that's what it looked like.  Anyway, I can type the name Jonathon to my heart's content now without it sticking.

2.  I have written 1345 words on a fic so far this morning.  Not one I was planning on working on at all.  But the muses were noisy and that is a good thing.

3.  Changed my journal page layout to something that is easier for me to read.  Haven't decided if it's permanent or not yet, but so far I like it.  Also changed my default icon.  Going to try it out for a few days and see if it remains at the same high level of squee as it's currently at.

Yes, he likes being typed. Rose likes him being typed. They both especially like the way they are being typed right now, but are happier still that it wasn't the O key that I was having trouble with. Or the G one. *grins* Thanks on the layout. If I could put a little TARDIS over the rocket I'd be a happy camper.

Oh, thanks, I really like this. Sorry, your reply got buried in my inbox or I'd have answered sooner. I don't know if it can be slotted in, but then I wouldn't know the first thing about how to do it if it could.

Thank you. I didn't get a headache today and I spent a lot of time on LJ. So I think it's gonna work. Least for the next six months or so.

Ah, yeah, I love that layout. I've used the red/orange version myself as my "Gallifrey" layout. :)

I had a hard time choosing between the reddish one and this time, but in the end I thought this one went better with the color scheme of my new default icon, so went with it.

I actually like dark backrounds when I'm reading lots of text, but apparently I'm in the minority. ;) Oh well, that's what highlighting's for!

The description in point 1 makes me lol. Something about, "wrapped around the dealio and filled in the thingy with that stuff" is amusing while still being totally comprehensible. XD

I think the dark backgrounds are prettier, but this one's easier to read for me. There's always the read in your style option if it makes it easier for you to read, though. I use that on particularly garish layouts.

*grins on the description* But you knew exactly what I meant! I bet if I'd called them by their proper terms (whatever they are) no one would have had a clue. Except maybe the people who assemble laptops and keyboards for a living.
