Not play dough. I don't know what plasticine is. Silly putty is this stuff that comes in this little plastic egg and you pull it out and stretch it and you can put it down like on newsprint and it'll transfer the image of it onto the putty. Otherwise it does nothing. It's a child's thing.

We have silly putty - comes in an egg, smells and is great fun... well, we had it when i was little, anyway.

I just wanted to make sure it translated. One of the aliens in my story is turning his body into something like translucent silly putty.

Yes.... sigh.... we have it.... my son has it.... sigh....

It makes lovely marks on the ceiling when he balls it up and throws it up there....

It grinds into the carpet quite well, also. We've had it once in Christmas stockings a few years ago. Never again!

It does doesn't it. Not like playdoh which just brushes out, no this stuff sticks and stays sticky until its been trodden into the carpet pile and covered with a layer of gunge...
