My Brain is so Dysfunctional Right Now

I do not know how many days this can last, but seriously, I've been on antibiotics for six days and I still have a fever of 101. My throat culture came back negative for strep or staph so that is good. I've bruised my ribs coughing. I'm dizzy and my left ear hurts and won't pop. The doctor did not hear any rattling in my lungs, but will send me for a chest x-ray if I still am coughing in a few more days. The hydrocodone cough syrup helps but it doesn't stop it completely. My bronchials and throat feel like someone rubbed them raw with sandpaper. I've gone through two boxes of the special Puffs with lotion tissues in a week. I just want to be better! Today please. At least I can read again. I was getting awfully tired of just watching shows on my laptop.

oh love, you too? I hope yours clears faster than mine seems to be doing. I'm SO sick of coughing too, it's exhausting and my chest just aches, think I've pulled a muscle. Got an appointment with the doc later this week, so here's hoping
