Fic Update

Well, I finally managed to churn out ch. 2 of Hope.  I had a real bad last couple of days when I'd sit down at the computer to write and get hit by a bad case of the "Me No Wannas," which does happen from time to time and yet always manages to take me totally by surprise when it does.  Just a sort of writing...meh...attitude.

But I did get it done today and it's in Amy's hot little hands being beta'd within an inch of its life and if it isn't some kind of ridiculous amount of disjointed crap, I'll post it tonight.  I'm not a very good judge at the moment.  Mostly because I'm still in the writing...not quite meh but not quite woohoo stage still.

I think I can finish Hope, though, maybe even tonight or tomorrow and then back to Zeppelins and You're What?

I spent a lot of my blah time this week rereading Wolf Moon and I'm about to embark on rereading what I've written so far of Hunger Moon, so I can try to find my Better with You series muse again.  I miss Rose and alt!Nine, but I'm not sure even with the rereading if they are ready to come out of hiding. *sighs*  It did remind me of some series threads I'd forgotten I'd planted though and reminded me to plant some more in HM as well.

I dunno what's going to become of Of the Vortex Born.  I want to finish it so badly and I have absolutely no ability to find the muse for it at all. *sighs*  And it's only like seven chapters from being done.  So poor Jamie Tyler sits there lingering in amnesia with the ever faithful Luke Smith by her side, Rose and the Doctor worried beyond belief at their daughter's condition, and the mystery of the Ganyites hanging over everybody, even though I know what it freaking is.  Grr...argh!  I want my muses back now.  All of them!

I totally know what you mean about the "Me No Wannas". Like, I WANT to write, but then I sit down and try and... well, "Me No Wanna!!!".

Glad you were able to get out of it and write! Hopefully I get out of this funk too!

I miss it, too. I don't know why it's so stubborn. Everything is stubborn right now though, except You're What? really. Though I've gotten part way into the next chapter of Hope, so maybe it's easing up a bit.

Yeah, hopefully. It's such a frustrating place to be to have the time to write and the need to write, but the desire just flees the building.

Aw, hope those muses all come back soon! *hugs* I know how frustrating that is to want to write yet have the muses head for the hills on you! >:[ (I've got my fanfic muses lounging on a nice beach somewhere, hopefully having a restful holiday while I'm doing NaNo. Then the trick will be to convince them to come back Dec 1st! O_O ;) )

I so sympathize! Right now, I have been fighting with all 3 of the things I am writing not good when you write as slow as I do. Fog is trying to go weird on me and just isn't flowing right and both parts 3 and 4 of Moving Forward are fussing at me. I really need to make some progress with 3 as there is only one written part that I have yet to post and that is with my dear beta as I type. Poor little Sam my smut bunny has exhausted himself with 4 and 1/4 chapters of smut and wandered of to the TARDIS hot tub grotto stating unequivocally no more smut till he has a good nap so filbert my 6ft green hamster muse is sulking. So I'm sitting here museless going 'but I have a posting schedule'

Ah, well, see, posting schedules and muse schedules do not go hand in hand. That's why I don't use posting schedules. Well, that and I have a deathly fear of deadlines. *grins* Hope it straightens out for you soon.
