This was perfect. My very favorite parts were these lovely defenses of Nine and Blue!Ten: "There has been nothing dangerous in the way the Doctor in blue has been with her. If anything he has been the gentlest of men, the most caring and compassionate part of the Doctor."..."this new man is very much like her beloved first Doctor, but not in the way the man in brown is implying. He is heart and vulnerability and love and emotion and desire and need and he’s not so good at hiding it as the man in front of her."
I love how you truly gave Rose a choice, but that you show us that not getting to say goodbye to her Doctor was heartrending for her. Excellent, as always! Thank you!!!
