Jenna is brilliant. She does a great job as Clara. I'm not too interested in the grand mystery of Clara.
I do notice a change when you bring it up about Eleven.
I really like that the part Clara being so good with children. Eleven is brilliant with children. The story of Clara's mother explains a lot about why she's a nanny in this timeline. The other Clara in the future was making a cake thing for her mother's birthday. Still not sure if they are the same person or different versions of the same person living out different possible timelines within the same universe.
I think a lot of people are pushing it with Rose stuff. I love call backs and mirrored scenes, but I want each companion to be there own person (not copy of someone else or someone else storyline). For all RTD's faults he created three very different female companions and two very different male companions. Plus everyone on Sarah Jane characters. IMO there is no need to try to make Clara into something Rose like even it's just the bad wolf thing. I know a lot of people want to see their believed characters mentioned and want to see things as such, but it can take away from the current companion. Like when Clara was telling the Doctor off for not living in memory of ghost and he looked shame faced. I thought "he's thinking of Martha and Rose!", but it's more likely he was thinking of other Clara and feeling guilting for keeping things from her.
You're right that Clara didn't have key and that could be why it didn't open for her. The whole language thing was weird. I think the writers were going more for a joke then the TARDIS liking or dislike Clara. There has been times before when the TARDIS hasn't translated everything when the Doctor specks the language of people in question.
