Now this is the way for a companion to go, knowing how much he was loved. I am still amazed every time I watch this at just how good a job they did with Sammy's death. I'm still surprised they went there and did it so well. I teared up for today's ep of Doctor Who, but I cried buckets here. No comparison in the writing. None at all. And darn it, I need to find a Jack/Emily icon.
