Fic Update

So I wrote a 2700 word one-shot today, very, very loosely inspired by one of the prompts at [livejournal.com profile] then_theres_us. Really more inspired by the fact that it's five times fic, but there were references to shoes in at least three of the five times, so, eh, close enough. So it's off at beta and then I'll probably make a couple of tweaks that I thought of after I sent it, but very minor, so I'll likely post it tomorrow. It's both Nine and Ten with Rose. Except for the ficathon this summer I haven't written anything for [livejournal.com profile] then_theres_us since March. I was vaguely inspired a few times but then sort of just didn't finish them, though I would like to go back and finish the noire one eventually.

Leap of Faith is at a little over 2500 words so I hope to get that chapter finished up tomorrow if I can, hopefully beta'd and ready to post by Friday, but who knows? It is going along well, at least. My word count so far since the start of November is 12,342, so even though I'm not officially doing NaNo, I'd be on track for sheer volume of words if I was, I suppose.

Oh, and even though it's super slow going, [livejournal.com profile] crimedoc1 and [livejournal.com profile] larxene_12, you will both be happy to know I wrote 500 words on A Sky Without Stars. Nowhere near being a chapter mind you, but it's a little bit of progress. It's amazing what a different painkiller does to uncloud my mind.

Well hello there!

So this is my first time commenting on anything you've posted, even though I should have earlier because in the span of two weeks I think I've read all of your Doctor Who fic. I even wrote Doctor Who fic myself for the first time, on your smutty round robin!

I just really wanted to say that I love all of your stories, and I think you are a fabulous writer. I'm so happy to hear that you've started writing A Sky Without Stars, and am really looking forward to it! Thanks for the update, and I'm sorry this comment is so long, lol!

Well, it's 500 more than you had previously. Yay!

I'm jealous of your muse. She's much more active than mine, who likes to fizzle out halfway through a chapter or story. Sure, she'll stay for planning a fic, but as soon as I actually start writing, she disappears.

But really, two fics this week? It's like Christmas is being celebrated early!

I am SO SO HAPPY you wrote more of A Sky Without Stars. I LOVED A Sky Without Zepplins.

I'm glad you're feeling well enough to write, but mostly I'm glad that you're feeling better.

Good for you and your productive muses.

I am glad you found a pain reliever that works better with your system. It doesn't feel like you are always swimming against a current anymore. Good deal!

Looking forward to reading what you have created soon!

All I can say is 'Yay for the writing'

Glad the different painkillers are seeming to help.
