I'm still quite dubious... I am a bread baker. I grind my own wheat and make wonderful whole grain breads. I just can't see how they would be bad! I don't particularly like diets that cut out an entire food group. I figure if God made it, it can't be bad to eat, right? It's not like I fill my bread with a bunch of chemicals, shortening etc... I do love the focus on fresh fruit and veggies, though. Can never get enough of those. I have a feeling we will end up eating a modified version.

I am with you -- a controlled carb approach is wise.
