I actually finished a chapter.  Chapter 45 of You're What? is now safely in the hands of Amy and Victoria, my not so busy as of late beta bees.  At least not busy with betaing.  Quite busy otherwise.  And better still, those lovely drabble prompts are rattling around in my brain AND I think I've figured out  a work around on the next chapter of Leap of Faith that is going to make me happy and not appear to be copying fricking canon.  It is a good feeling.

I have finished my rewatch of Seaon 2 of Fringe.  I'm going to take a little break from it before I rewatch season 3 because I have the writing bug at the moment and don't want to distract it too much.

Summer is finally here weather wise.  Today was 75, which is hot for here.  Stupid next door neighbors have a shop in their garage which is right outside my bedroom window.  They were in there using a power saw at 7 this morning.  I wasn't happy as I'd only managed to fall asleep around one last night because of a nasty headache. *sighs*  Common sense, people.  Learn to use it.  At least the headache is mostly gone now.  Hopefully it won't come back.

75 is HOT? Oh my god, in contrast, the air here has turned to magma, only interrupted by enormous bolts of lightning every few nights. I think it was 92 today. A bit ago, we had a string of days over 100, and MD is huuuumid.

...And I'm about to go south for vacation. XD

In other news, what kind of jerk starts using a power saw at 7 am, in the suburbs? I'm up then, but I wish like hell I wasn't and certainly wouldn't appreciate the extra noise. Not to mention the poor night shift and late shift people.

I think some people live the 9-5 life for so long that they forget other lifestyles exist, though.

It is hot for the coastal Pacific Northwest, and generally it is a humid heat. Dry heat almost never happens here. So far our whole spring was pretty much 55 to 60 this year, which is cold for here. It does, sometimes in July or August, get up in the 80's and 90's and that we find unbearable. So far today has only been 65, but with a cold wind. I am most happy right around 70, which is what it generally averages at this time of year.

I actually think 75 is a perfect temperature. Maybe down to 72 if you're going to be more active. So I envy you your climate, at least right now! (I can't stand the cold.)

I just cleaned out my car. It was 88 degrees. It's 10:50 pm. :(
