you definitely have a lot of valid points in your post. I do agree David could have played that role just as well as Matt Smith did. And I agree with you on the food thing. It was rude, irresponsible and not to mention making a 7 yr old cook on an open flame and bacon, (where the grease can splatter and burn. I wasn't allowed to cook on a stove unsupervised until I was about 11. Also not sure I can trust a man who doesn't like apples. (I guess an apple a day does keep the doctor away.) Granted he was in the first stages of his regeneration so a lot of his other stuff was extra quirky before settling down a bit. Well hopefully they'll settle down a bit. After all DT spent the first half of his regeneration cycle if not longer sick in bed so aside from rambling at the mouth he was a lot more stable when he was conscious.

I'm not sure I like the "Geronimo" line but if he uses it sparingly it wont get too annoying. And instead of the hair ruffling he likes to smack himself on the forehead. I also didn't like the coming back so late, years too late over and over. I can understand the first time since the Tardis was injured and repairing herself. (though if she can do that to her interior, it's funny she can't fix the chamelion circut.) I did notice Amy did not say "it's bigger on the inside" I will admit to wincing very strongly every time a new explosion happened in the Tardis. I was attached to that old interior as much as I was to our tenth doctor. I really didn't like the typewriter in the console. and the rest will take some getting used to. I think some of it was bits of pieces and retro that you get from some of the older versions of the tardis. There was even a coat rack in the corner. It's still organic but more technical and shiny than the other one. It'll take some getting used to more than Matt Smith.

I definitely like Amy. She is a strong character and only screamed once when face to face with prisoner 0's true form and all those teeth. But the rest of the time she really held it all together wonderfully, though I do have to question her judgment going away with him when he's gotten his timing so horribly wrong every time he's promised to come back. (especially if she's getting married tomorrow) It's worse than when he took Rose away for a year. Then again she was obsessed with him since she was a child and this might have been her only opportunity to take advantage of her childhood dreams. After all the Doctor was amazingly accurate with getting Martha home on time.

I didn't like the alien ship with the giant eye. I swear that thing looked like a villain from one of my Japanese based adventure games form my playstation.

I do admit to having a theory about why most of the time the Doctor gets it wrong. Nearly every time he gets it wrong, he has to save the world. Even when he got Rose's time wrong they stopped the Slytheen. I almost always figured that either his sense of time lines was working subconsciously to get him where he was needed or the Tardis was acting on her own a bit to pull him in the right direction, to where he was needed. not all the time but when times really call for it. After all an older Tardis was rather twitchy. I'm sure newer Tardisis (Tardi?) were better controlled with tech, after all they are grown and obviously sentient. Okay that's enough out of me, you've pretty much said the rest. I'm still gonna miss DT but I can certainly grow to like Matt. Still David was my doctor, much like others have a favorite doctor.

I'm still hoping you might be inspired to do a 10th Doctor one shot in honor of David Tennant's Birthday on the 18th of April.
