Wow. I am impressed with your write up! Maybe if they do write him farther away from Ten I wouldn't feel so much like he was an impostor. I did like Matt a great deal but I wasn't convinced he could fill the shoes.. But you do bring a good point, write for HIM and not David and you would stand a better chance in my book.

The mother in me had some cringy moments as well. But I did love his insanity.. Which is a lot like 10, but he did that well. Sucks about wasted food, but I admit I did laugh pretty hard at that scene.
