LJ-Cut help needed for HTML

amberfocusCan someone give me a quick crash course on how to do an LJ-cut with html? I usually use rich text editor, but I want to learn how to do it with html.
For example, I would like to make the following paragraph say Frog Prince.
There once was a frog who became a prince. No other frog has done it since. We're convinced.
Can someone give me the code to do that, only instead of using < > brackets in the example code, use ( ) brackets so it won't cut while you're putting in the code and then I can try it out? Pretty please? Thank you.
