I had this happen with sugar. I had a two week headache when I decreased my sugar intake. My body eventually got used to the reduced sugar but I was a miserable person for awhile (and I don't think the family was too fond of me for those two weeks). The withdrawal headaches went away but now I will get the occasional headache if I consume too much sugar. Curse my infrequent need for a can of Coke.
