Stupid Meme. I have tried three times today to post a comment to
dark_aegis's thread on that fanfic love meme today and every time I do it, it just disappears. I don't get the error page or something saying it's being screened. It's just gone. I had no problem posting on anyone else's things. It was a nice, long, thought-out entry the first time. Shorter and more to the point on the second, and the third I'd at least copied it before it disappeared into the ether. So fine, stupid meme, I'm just gonna post it here and hope she sees it:
So to
dark_aegis, my favorites of your fics are those in The Hide and Seek 'verse. I love this version of an alternate ninth Doctor (which I am such a sucker for) and Rose finding him all John Smith like. It's wonderful and makes me squeeful every time I read the stories. Of course (as I told her partner in crime) I also love the collab fic Cheating Time. It remains my favorite Doctor Who fanfic to this day. The sheer timey whimey perfect joy of it all, the slow falling apart of everything, the eventual solution that is one of the most clever usages of Jack Harkness I've ever seen. Yeah. And I really, really enjoyed Life After which I just read last week. You've got an ability to plot adventure fic that I don't see too often and when I see your name I always try to read whatever it is, even if it means saving it in a list somewhere until I have time to read it. Your fics are always very engrossing, like I'm watching it as a movie instead of reading it. You're also one of only a handful that I'll read OT3 from. You can make me believe it could really happen. And when you do it, you do it right. It's a true three way partnership without someone in the pairing getting tossed to the side or left out in the cold.
Yeah, now that I've posted it here it'll probably show up on the meme. All three times.
