I've just finished reading the marvelous 25 chapter All Roads Lead to You by meremoon.  I had just planned to read the first chapter or two and take the rest of it with me on vacation to read in the car tomorrow.  Um...that was this morning.  I've just finished it.  It was that entrancing.  I was literally annoyed at real life when I had to go run last minute errands for our trip in the middle of chapter twelve.  This also explains why I didn't get to my comments on LoF today, sorry.

I don't have the words for how much I loved this fic.  Ten2, Rose, the Eighth Doctor and Charley in Pete's world.  Such an intriguing concept and then add the fact that Eight has been fob-watched and I was a total goner.  I don't want to give away the plot but I really want to encourage people to read it.  It's sad and happy and beautiful and heartbreaking and painful and sweet and hopeful all at once, with genuine moments of laugh out loud humor.  It's just...wonderful.  Rated Teen.  Link leads to the last chapter which then has links to all of them:  http://meremoon.livejournal.com/38152.html

It was absolutely lovely and remenicient in a way to Victoria's fic.... cant remember the name atm :( but I just love the concept of 8 Rose

Agreed. The story was great. I'm also glad everything wasn't all resolved at the end. Much more realistic.

Oh! I'm so happy to see someone else recing this fic! I've been reading it since the beginning and I loved it so much more than I thought I would since I knew nothing of eight. I'm now inspired to watch his movie and maybe find some of the audios. But regardless it was such a great fic, so well written and such an intriguing and unique concept. I'm sad it's over, but was a satisfying and realistic end.

It's very good. It puts me in mind of jeprdyfrndly's fic I Thought it Would Last Forever. You'd likely enjoy that one since you liked this one. http://jeprdyfrndly.livejournal.com/1912.html It's the Eighth Doctor and an Immortal Rose meeting six weeks after Ten2 has died of old age after they lived a long and happy life together. Well worth the read.

Oh awesome! Thank you for the rec. I'm still working my way through jlrpuc's Peter/Rose stories (although I'm nearly finished, I think I have one long story and several short ones left), but then I'll definitely check that one out. Thank you!
