I'm a Doctor/Rose shipper through and through, and when Rose was tossed out, lost all hope in the series. Especially after reading carefully considered critiques like yours.
Watching early trailers of the new Doctor/companion left me feeling appalled, not intrigued. I haven't watched Eleven, don't have any interest in Eleven/miniskirt!Amy, and really have no intention to watch the series.
Now, back to reading the wonderful, wonderful Nine/Rose and Ten/Rose fics my favorite authors excel in writing!
