Ohhh, this chapter felt like more of a teaser than anything else. It's a build up of things to come which is nessessary but is still a horrible tease. Mickey and Ianto are aware of the hack but not by who. I'm hoping Mickey makes the intuitive leap that it's John, but he has no proof to back it up which would make a confrontation rather difficult and when Rose finds out I'm almost certain she'll jump to that conclusion as well. The man doesn't care about personal boundries all that much when it comes to Rose, or his own curiosity.
Poor Tosh is stuck in the middle between John and Rose too. She pretty much knows John reminds Rose of her lost love and that is a very awkward position on top of keeping John safe and under the radar from the family which means not letting him get romantically attached. Who knows, maybe she'll let that slip on purpose to help keep a distance between them. No man wants to be a replacement for their twin.
I so want to know what's in Rose's file. I'm almost hoping that there is mention of her first actions in the cyber war against Lumik. I know she disapeared after but showing up as a maid undercover at the Tylers would fit in with her kidnapping story and wanting to try and find out about her parents and then she just gets swept along with the preachers. Torchwood had to have some kind of record of the incident and Rose and Mickey were key players along with the 10 Doctor. After all those files may have been buried deep before Pete took over torchwood and they may not have known there were there.
I'm impressed that John did halfway apologize for his actions. He must seriously want to set things right. I loved him fingering his ears while in the lift with her like he expected her to grab them at any moment. And I look forward to the training and sparring that will be going on. And if they managed to spar together I can just see some sparks and physical chemistry start to fly. Especially when one managed to pin the other down. After all the last time they touched, it seemed to really spark each others pheromones and hormones. (giggles wickedly) And it might be a good idea for Rose to get out some frustrations before she finds out her files were hacked. The man still deserves a little bit of humbling right now before he reads who knows what in Roses files.
Okay, that's enough out of me. Looking forward to chapter 8.
