No kidding. Even in terms of Hollywood idiocy, if they were setting up for a sequel (which was obvious from the whole shape of the story), wouldn't they have wanted a female on the "dark side"? Of course, that would then mean that all of the acting talent is on the "wrong side". Hence why I normally cheer on the bad guys! (One of my favourite bits of "behind the scenes" on a DVD ever was Nicolas Cage assuring the director that yes, indeed, CE could intimidate the heck out of him even when sitting down, leaning back in his chair, and speaking softly.)
