Could be quite similar. Korelian was a total accident. I just thought it sounded good. Corusca pointed out it was a Star Wars reference when betaing, so I must have heard it at some point in my life. The Orbs of Thessalameeka are an homage to Buffy but they don't work anything like those orbs. I just liked the name and expanded on it.
