You know the chapters in this fic are actually longer than in any other fic I've ever written? They just read really fast, but most of them are between 3500 and 4000 words where a typical fic from me is about 1500 to 2000. When I first started writing DW it was closer to 1200 to 1500 per chapter, so...you're actually doing quite well in comparison. *grins*
I've decided that in this universe Jackie and her mother have quite a lot of friction in their relationship, but that she's stayed quite close to her mother-in-law since Pete's death.
