I've sent ch. 50 of Zeppelins off to the ever so lovely[info]amyo67 to be beta'd.  She's off doing something less important right now, like having a life or eating lunch. *grins*  This one may require a bit more work than usual as I need to seriously talk over some of the plot development with her, so it's possible it won't be posted until tomorrow if there is any serious rewriting needing to be done.  Just a couple of things I'm not quite sure about that might need a TARDIS mallet taken to them.  And then five more chapters to go.  Wow.  That there ending is approaching pretty fast, isn't it?

Now Amber, sweetheart, you know that the Sisters do not like to take you task about anything because we love you so much. However, talking about the END!!! Yes, yes we know all things end, 'all things must come to dust' but do you have to remind us that it is so close. I've already had to give Sister Lacryma an extra tissue allocation after the last 2 chapters...

Still the news about the next chapter being forthcoming is very exciting and we will put aside our petty quibbles and look forward to it with anticipation.

May the power of GUH be always upon you and your muse.

You will need the extra large tissue box for the ending of this chapter, methinks. I'll ease up on the angst after that, though. And just remember, the story may be drawing to a close, but this is a series and A Sky Without Stars will be along before you know it.

I'm with the sisters on the sadness of the approaching ending, though it is tempered with the joy of the sequel. And really I'm glad that this story has an arc and a plot even if that does mean it will have to have an end. That makes it a better story than simply a long ramble through a 'verse we all love.

The Sisters are whooping with delight and are doing the Great Conga of GUH around the Temple for we had forgotten A Sky Without Stars. As leader of the order I apologise for the grevious lapse in memory.

May the GUH be with you.

Oh, I'm going to hate it when it comes to and end. But I have one bright spot. That just means I'll be able to put it in my palm pilot and re-read it from start to finish without stopping. ^_-

Joins in the Sisterhoods Conga Line. I knew you had a big plan for our darlings, but I was a bit aprehensive that it might be a long wait for Stars, what with the move. I was kinda worried that you might feel a little burned out on them, but happy, happy, joy joy...gives a happy little kick in the conga line.

Well, we're not sure exactly when we are moving. Looks like it's going to be another month before Dad gets moved into the nursing home because the state is being slow and then my mother wants my sister to find a place and move out because she won't contribute to the household and has returned to her cold fish, ice princess ways, which means a couple more months for her to find a place knowing how she'll drag it out and Mom won't actually kick her out. Really it could be anytime in the next year.

As for Stars, I am working on developing the plot. Right now it just has two minor ideas, one minor running idea and one major running idea that need to be expanded upon. But no actual plot yet. So it might be a little bit, but it will come. And I might do one or two ficlets of Jonathon and Rose between epics or some outtakes. I'd like to do an actual scene of when Jonathon phones Donna to ask her about romantic things the weekend he is going to make love to Rose for the first time, and an actual one of Wilf telling Donna about watching the light show on the moon and her realizing what that means while Lumin is meeting them for the first time.

Meanwhile I'll be finishing the last nine chapters of You're What?, the last few of Vortex, and working on Hunger Moon while I figure it out. I don't think I can stay away from Jonathon and Rose for too long, though.

It's going to be hard to bring it to a close. I had the shakes when I finished Wolf Moon and this will be almost twice as long as that.

Yeah, writing a story that has no plot is kind of hard. It can be done, but...yeah.
