The Caligo are dead. At least the ones on Earth are. James' sacrifice ended the current threat and as of now there are no more of those creatures anywhere near their solar system.
There may be a lot of clinginess, yes. As for angst, I think I said something along the lines of no angst that would come between Rose and Jonathon's relationship. Nothing that would break up Rose and Jonathon. Not no angst at all.
