I just adore the idea that the Doctor and Jack rescued all of those people and helped them set up a new (much better) life. Definitely what Rose would have wanted, had she been in any shape to help.
And it's so beautiful - I love those photos. I can completely picture the village and the inhabitants in their colorful garments. It's always amazed me that even in the midst of some of the most horrible squalor, the people of India dress in those gorgeous clothes that seem so rich.
Now that you've left us (and the poor Doctor) hanging - next chapter please!!!! *grabby hands*
