SPOILERS

Am I the only one seeing the resemblance here?  I know everyone wants to think that Rose is the mother of the Doctor's daughter, but to me the resemblance of Lucy Saxon and Jenny is far, far closer.  And it would make for much better drama.  Might even save what is looking like it could be a very badly off track episode.  The Master sticking it to the Doctor one last time from beyond the grave?

Of course, if she is the Doctor's daughter with Rose it would explain why Rose keeps trying to get through to him, despite the risks to the two universes.  In the end, could Jenny be Little Red Riding Hood?  Or could it be Lucy Saxon?  It'd be one heck of a surprise if it was Lucy.

You know, that's what I thought at first; Jenny has that porcelain-doll thing going on that's very much like Lucy. Someone else posted a picture of Jenny alongside Romana II, and the resemblance was haunting--but then, Lucy looks a little like Romana II as well, which was probably something the producers did on purpose when casting Alexandra Moen. The idea of the Master marrying a woman who looked like the Doctor's old flame is just something he'd do.

It'd be ironic if it turned out Jenny was actually the Master and Lucy's daughter.

Oh I like they way you think! That would be so much better than the visions of Badness running through my head.

I'm loving this series so far - I don't want emo!Doctor back!

Could this hark back to the first Doctor? Maybe it's Susan's mother. Timey-Wimey stuff could make her younger atm.

Hmmm...
I don't think it's possibly going to be the daughter of the Doctor and Rose. That would just be giving into the shippers WAY too easily.

I think Jenny being Lucy's daughter could be interesting (the Master reborn as a female, perhaps?) but I don't know.

I think ultimately, it's probably something that's going to surprise everyone.

I thought the actress playing Jenny, the Doctor's “daughter” is Georgia Moffett – who ironically if you didn't already know this is the real life daughter of Peter Davison who of course played the Fifth Doctor.

I really don't think Jenny is or will have anything to do with Rose in that way. I know it would make millions of shippers happy but I just don't see it and part of me doesn't want to see it.

She does look a lot like Lucy though. If the Master was behind it I could see him using Lucy's DNA and stolen DNA from the Doctor's hand to make Jenny. To slick to the Doctor one more time. Maybe it was his plan to bring Jenny in front of the Doctor and have her be on his side. To maybe even call him father (just to break the Doctor even more).

Mostly non of my thoreys with be right and the episode will be something completely different. Whoever is behind it for whatever reason I really don't think Jenny with be the Doctor's love child with Rose. If she was I would think this episode would be nearer to the end of the season when Rose arrives (full time I guess you'd say because she been in or mentioned in every episode this season). I just can't see Jenny having anything to do with Rose. I've been trying to both stay away from spoiler but find something out about this episode. So far it's only given me a headache and told me nothing. So I guess it'll be a suprise when this episode airs. Which can't be soon enough IMO.

Yeah, it is Georgia Moffett. She really does look like Lalla Ward, but she also looks an awful lot like her dad. However, I'm assured that the only Doctor Lalla Ward ever got it on with was Tom Baker, and Georgia's mom is someone else entirely, so it's just a coincidence.

OMG NO! I must erase the image from my mind. Thats... That would put the Master so far up on the evilness against the Doctor that even the Daleks appearing with Rose's mutilated corpse cannot compare.

True, she does look like Lucy. But then, she would be the Master's daughter. Not the Doctor's.

Interesting thought: I mean - Jenny being Lucy... or maybe the Master's daughter. Well maybe a mix between Doctor and Master, that would be an idea. I definitely don't think she's Roses' child.

I'm curious if she's Susan Foreman's mother and / or the one the Doctor refers to in "Fear Her" when he says "I was a Dad once" or a completely different person.

I think the episode could go either way: Very good, or extremely bad...

I would have to wonder what plot purpose would be solved using Romana though? Unless it's one of hope.

I really don't think it is Rose's daughter. That just seems really wrong for the show to me. I hope it's brilliant, but I think it may very well fall on it's face like a wet paper bag.

Exactly. I can't see the Master lowering himself to have a child of his own with a human, but I can easily see him mixing the Doctor's DNA with Lucy's and we never saw what ended up happening with the Master's ring when it was retrieved from the fire. It would be very easy for them to hide an appearance by Simm in all the hoopla surrounding Rose's return. Every eye focused on Billie Piper, who'd notice John Simm sneaking onto the set and being clone!Master. Just a wild guess.

But the Master is that evil. He could do it. Probably hasn't, but he could. Don't even want to think about your last sentence.

Not if she was bred in a test tube, though.

It would be nice if she were Susan's mother.
