I don't think I'd touch the Valeyard with a ten foot pole, honestly. I hated him in Trial of a Time Lord and I don't want to see my Ten turn into that. Ever. Though I can easily see SM doing it to him if he doesn't knock off the angst-fest started by RTD. So, whether or not I can make canon Ten happy or not again, I don't know. But I still have Time Eternal Ten and OTVB Ten and they'll be happy.
