Ah, the curse of the Doctor. To always think that his way -- that what he thinks is best for others -- is the only way to do things! Too bad that no one else agrees with the decisions he's made concerning their lives!
As always, your character interactions are so spot on and the plots so believable (canon, I tell you, canon!) that the holes left by Journey's End are all neatly plugged. Fantastic -- as usual!
By the way, are you considering turning the Doctor towards such uncaring numbness after he chucks Rose out, that he becomes ... The Valeyard??? I've read a couple of theories regarding that, but am hopeful of some happy-happy ending instead. Pleeeeeeaze?
