Story Update Rambling On

Still liking the Puppy-Dog Eyes.  Just can't help it.  *pets Ten*  Anywho, got a bit done on ch. 10 of Hunger Moon today, but it is still being mightly stubborn.  And did finish and post ch. 2 of Have, and I just couldn't resist putting a bit of uh-oh at the end.  What is wrong with me?  Why do I do that?  Why can't I let Nine and Rose have a few peaceful moments?  Gah.  I have no problem fluffing with Ten and Rose.  Take Me series is all fluff/smut.  Even with the N/R story Always Ask Twice, the one really fluffy bit I did for them that wasn't crack!fic, had an emotional, angst driven, hurt/comfort follow-up!  And it wasn't supposed to be.  It was supposed to be smut.  Can I not separate Nine/Rose smut from hurt/comfort angst?  I can do it with alt!Nine/Rose. *stomps foot*  I've written a page and a half of ch. 3 of Have and erased it and written another page and I'm still not sure how I'm going to sort things out.  Plus, Jack is supposed to have a cameo at the end of this one.  Very brief, but still has to be included.  Oh, well, I'm going to sleep now and I'm ordering my characters to sort themselves out by morning!

You know we should bounce ideas around so see if we can get chapters going. Chapter 5 of She Came with the Rain is being stubborn. Chapter 6 or 7 wrote itself forgoing chapter 5. But need chapter 5! **shakes plot bunny then offers carrot**

For Have, why don't just make Nine and Rose incompatible, which leads to relief and resolution (but with secret regret and inner no-tiembaby!evar! angst). Then later on in the series you can have Ten and Rose compatible. Of course Ten would totally forget to consider that possibility which leads to Unexpected!Compatibility!Pregnancy! ;) Thus allowing alternate storyline in S2 that sidesteps Teh Doomsday. (Of course I am a sucker for babyfic, so feel free to ignore my sleep deprived (but thoroughly caffeinated!) morning ramblings.)

Oooh! Oooh! Love the way your sleep deprived, overcaffeinated mind works! I can so visualize what you've just said, especially the part that "sidesteps Teh Doomsday." ANYTHING that sidesteps "Doomsday" is OK in my book!!!

Oh, because it's sad enough that Nine is the one that built the relationship and Ten got to "enjoy" it in canon. :(

Thanks, I didn't make the icon, I don't know who did. It's my only DW icon. I so need to get a few more.

My Math Midterm of DOOM is over, so yes, I will be going to bed now; whether I'll be able to sleep after 5 espresso shots...

And yes, +Tiembabys -Doomsday is ALWAYS a good equation.

I'd have to catch up on it, I think I've read the first two chapters, well I know I've read the first one, anyway before I could even make a decent suggestion. I'm so far behind on everything, but I'll try to read it tonight.

Pretty much how it went. With the Nine/Rose part I mean. I haven't decided if I'll do a Ten version of this or not. I'm almost tempted to do both. One where Nine doesn't regenerate and one where he does. Moments in Darkness and Moments in Light, perhaps? I love your icon, too.

I would have wished Nine got to enjoy it for at least a few more episodes. *sighs* The heat definitely needs some release! Doing my part on that.
